Hey everyone! Hope all is well for y'all! This past week has definately helped me in quite a few ways so without further ado...

This past week, The First Year Missionaries (FYMers) helped out at the Gateway down here in Matamoros with a youth group of 300 kids coming in from Johnson Ferry Baptist Church of Marietta, GA!! So I got to be around some southerners for a while... it felt really good. As I talked to them some I got to see that a majority of them were really excited to be down here but skeptical of what was to come. This year was the first year out of all the times they have been down here that they were going to do ATL (Ask The Lord). Yes they came down and built 20 houses in 4 days, yes they walked the colonias and met people and tried new things like Joyas and Takis. But ATL was something none of them have not only done before but never heard of. I'm pleased to say that God poured out into each and everyone of the kids that came down and were blown away with the concept of ATL and absolutely loved it! I helped not only drive them around (meeting up with theย Federalis twice in one week) and lead them through construction and ATL (which were awesome!) but also got to be their Online Trip Updater. It was so cool to hear all the stories of the things that got to experience and see God just pouring out into these kids in so many different and unique ways! It was really incredible!

Also during this week I have been trying to recover to the best of my ability from my wisdom tooth being pulled. I had to take quite a bit of medication for it (Two pain killers, Tylenol and an antibiotic) so my stomach was so messed up and my jaw was killing me but otherwise all is well now!! Thank God! I just got back from the Dentist today and they said that the surgery site has healed and the nerves in my jaw should be completely healed in a month! So hopefully I won't have to go back again (although the dental assistant was pretty cute.... j/k).

And with all that going on other things have been happening in my life right now. As hard as I'm trying to go to school for some reason I feel that maybe I'm not meant to be there quite yet. A couple of job offers have presented themselves to me this fall and I'm looking into it so I really don't know what I'm going to be doing in the fall after all this is done. Its all in God's hands now and as Jeremiah said in Chapter 33 verse 3:

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

Hope to hear from you soon! Love ya all! Later!

~Jeanne ;)
